1. What is the most meaningful object you wear?
My necklace from Juju Supply! Truly. I love it so much. I like the way it feels against my chest and I love the way it looks. On it is a Juju healing rock crystal, two charms with my grandsons' initials, a small diamond leaf, and a heart charm with my name on it that my Mom wore on a charm bracelet for as long as I can remember.
2. Why do you wear it?
In a way, it allows me to have my loved ones with me and it represents my past and who I am today. And I like when it jangles. It reminds me of my mother and my grandmother’s jewelry. Good Juju goes way back in our family.
3. What does the saying "good juju" mean to you?
To me it means good luck in some language I seem to innately understand. It’s about positive energy and holding onto that and sharing it with others.
4. Who is your Juju hero?
Casey, founder of Juju Supply, is my Juju hero. She took the Juju game to an entirely different level and taught me and everyone else who wears her jewelry to live with intention, to hold our loved ones close, to take control and remember how strong we all are.
5. What is your motto?I’m not sure I have a motto. I would say my films can tell you a lot about how I see the world. Like Joan Didion said, “I write to find out what I’m thinking.” I know I’m not all that conventional so I guess if I had to pick one motto, at least for today - I’d say, WHY NOT?
