1. What is the most meaningful object you wear?
Nina: This is a tough one! But if I had to pick just one, I’d say my bronze radiator bangle from Juju – it was a recent gift from my mama and I haven’t taken it off once!
Sanja: My favorite piece is the evil eye that Nina got me to start my Juju jangle! I believe eyes are mirror of the soul – precious, pure and full of protection!
2. Why do you wear it?
Nina: I believe jewelry should be an extension of who you are as a person. Nothing is more important to me than my family – and this feels like my armor. It helps me feel connected to my mama despite living on the other side of the country. And every time I look down at my wrist, I can hear her voice of confidence telling me You’ve got this – whatever it is that may come my way!
Sanja: I’ve always loved eyes as a symbol – and evil eyes have always held a special meaning for me. They offer daily protection to the wearer and I love how colorful they make my Juju jangle! Evil eyes are traditionally blue and white which happen to be my favorite colors – I think that’s what makes me so drawn to their good energy!
3. What does the saying "good juju" mean to you?
Nina & Sanja: To us, good juju means living a purposeful life that seeks to find positivity in both the daily pleasures and challenges. It means creating meaningful small moments that when added up, create one long and beautiful life well spent.
4. Who is your Juju hero?
Nina: I think this one’s for me to answer! My Juju hero is my darling mama... She is the epitome of strength, fearlessness and persistence. Her love of life is contagious. Her soul is sweet and virtuous. The amount of joy she brings to my life is immeasurable and I am forever grateful that I got so lucky to have her be my mama.
5. What is your motto?
Nina: I come from a place of yes. Yes to new adventures, yes to new challenges, yes to more love and more life in the everyday! Because, yes you can and yes you will!
Sanja: Follow your heart – it will always guide you in right direction! Then learn to trust that! Also, it’s not over until it’s over.. stop and smell the roses... good things happen to good people! Ok, now, I’m done!
